The Comic Spot podcast

Like many illustrators, designers and freelancers, I’m a podcasting junkie and public radio fiend always on the lookout for new distractions. Anyone glued behind their table indoors everyday will know that it’s impossible to listen to even your most favourite tunes for too long before you’re aching to hear regular ol’ sentences with punctuation! and wit! and clumsy tongue-tying stutters!

Anyway, I listened the The Comic Spot (an Australian comics program on Melbourne’s 3CR) 2008 year-end-wrap-up show and heard Jo Waite spot me as best new discovery for 2008! It feels strangely voyeauristic to catch out a discussion about yourself over the public radio airwaves, like I’m hearing something I shouldn’t. Thanks Jo Waite, Bernard Caleo and John Retallick!
